I cannot stress how important it is to keep your CV updated!
I would recommend reviewing it on a monthly basis, adding any new experience, skills and qualifications gained since the last revision. The same goes for your LinkedIn profile.
Even if you’re happy in your current position, it’s always better to prepare for the worst. If you get unexpectedly laid off or let go, the last thing you want to worry about is the current state of your CV and updating it. Also, you never know when the eyes of a prospective employer are browsing your online profiles.
